Gradebook
The Gradebook is a powerful tool that helps teachers translate student progress on CodeHS courses into letter grades. Teachers can set an expected progress point (which activity should students have completed up to) and a grading schema (how points should be assigned) and the Gradebook will automatically calculate grades for every student in that section. Once grades are calculated, teachers can also export that data to an Excel or CSV file to use in their SIS or another external student data system.

Teachers also have the ability to customize the point values for every activity in a CodeHS course. The Gradebook Grading Schema can then be changed to use those customized values. The customizable aspect of the Gradebook ensures that teachers can assign grades in exactly the right way for their section.

Teachers can access the Gradebook under the Toolbox tab at the top of any CodeHS page or directly from a class section in the Gradebook tab.
