    Students apply computational thinking to everyday routines and build interactive scenes using events, the grid, and peer feedback.

  • Message Events

    Students learn to coordinate character actions and page transitions using message events combined with visual effects.

  • Loops

    Students deepen their understanding of repetition by using loops to build and debug programs like timers and path-following projects.

  • Culmination Projects

    Students apply the full range of coding skills they've learned to design creative, multi-part projects like racing games and adventure stories.

  • Preparing for Next Year

    Students begin using variables to track information and start transitioning from CodeHopJr to the more advanced CodeHop Blocks interface.

  • Digital Literacy

    Students build foundational computer knowledge and explore online safety, research, and the impact of artificial intelligence.

  • Optional Preparing for Next Year

    Students collaborate on unplugged activities that apply conditional logic to guide a character through a maze.
