Daryl taught 6th grade at two different elementary schools, and then developed STEAM programs at two different independent schools. He taught coding, Design Thinking, 3D printing, robotics, and media literacy. Students also enjoyed open-ended creative time in the makerspaces he developed, building go-karts, woodwork, or invented games.
Currently, Daryl is leading the CodeHS elementary curriculum development. He is thrilled to help schools and districts develop a complete K-12 pathway for computer science fundamentals!
Daryl loves biking, hiking, musing about big life questions, and hanging out with his wife and two boys. He does not get brain freeze, so don’t challenge him to an ice cream eating contest.
