CodeHS is partnering with the Indiana Department of Education to host a variety of free professional development events throughout 2024 for Indiana teachers.
CodeHS Pro has a full suite of tools to help teachers streamline their workflow and support student growth including access to time-saving grading tools, progress tracking, lesson plans, and more.

To be eligible to attend you should either be an elementary teacher, middle school teacher, or high school computer science/STEM teacher. Stipends for completion only apply to the completion of selected events for Indiana educators participating for the first time.

Bootcamps are a combination of weekly (mostly optional) meetings and online course work.The approximate time commitment is 3-4 hours per week. After the bootcamp, teachers can continue working through a corresponding online PD course.
Workshops help educators level up their coding skills and understanding to teach specific courses.Each workshop is designed to equip teachers with the necessary tools and resources needed to bringthe discussed content to the classroom.
The Praxis CS exam prep course is a 14-week cohort model where teachers work through the course simultaneously via the CodeHS platform. The course includes live lessons, Q&As, 1:1 support, & networking.
This self-paced, online course explores computer science as a discipline. This 50-hour course focuses on pedagogical theory, effective teaching methods, and instructional strategies to support the teaching of computer science in a variety of settings.
