AI Creator
AI Creator lets teachers instantly generate customized, differentiated assignments tailored to each student’s needs and interests. Built directly into CodeHS, it allows inline edits and easy adjustments before assigning to students, all in one place.

Power Ups
Power Ups are quick, interactive tools on CodeHS that help teachers introduce and reinforce key concepts in a fun, low-friction way. Teachers can launch them from the Power Up App to add short, engaging moments to a lesson without leaving the platform.

QuizBuzz
Engage your students with interactive, gamified quizzes and gain valuable insights into their understanding, all within CodeHS. QuizBuzz makes it easy to check for understanding in real time and keep learners motivated.

AI Grading
AI Grading uses your rubric to pre-fill suggested scores and feedback for student work. Teachers can accept, reject, or edit any suggestion, and the final grade always stays in the teacher’s control.

Remix Tool
The Remix Tool makes it easy to create differentiated versions of an assignment by letting you either fork it or swap in an alternate exercise. Forking is available for CodeHS Pro teachers, while alternate exercises are available to all teachers when an alternate version exists.

State Pathways
We’re continuing to expand our K–5 computer science pathways with new state-specific options. Each pathway aligns with state standards and supports high-quality, developmentally appropriate CS instruction from kindergarten through 5th grade.

Digital Literacy Lessons
We built many new digital literacy lessons to meet standards and specific pathway needs. They can be used flexibly to fit whatever technology skills and understanding that you may want to teach (Data Analysis, Digital Citizenship, Computer Basics, and more)!

Self-Paced Learning
Teachers can enable Self-Paced Mode for Ready-to-Go elementary lessons. This option allows students to work independently at their own pace and gives teachers added flexibility to meet different classroom needs.

Custom Starter Code
You can now create your own starter code in your Playground and push it to students’ Playgrounds! Our elementary lesson templates can now be downloaded, customized, uploaded to a new Playground project, and then pushed to any of your class sections.

Middle School

Our new Introduction to micro:bit Programming with Python course is a 50-hour course that gives learners hands-on experience programming micro:bits with Python, helping them move beyond on-screen coding to create real-world, interactive programs and projects. Check out all of the new middle school courses here.

High School

CodeHS has continued to create new standards-aligned courses for high school, including:
