What’s New On CodeHop
🧑🎓 Self-Paced Lessons Are Here!

We’re excited to roll out Self-Paced Lessons—a highly-requested feature that lets teachers choose to give students in a section the ability to work independently on their own time.
This empowers teachers to:
Offer personalized learning paths.
Let students explore topics at their own pace.
Reinforce classroom instruction with asynchronous practice.
Whether you're running centers, a flipped classroom, or simply want flexible options, this update gives teachers more control and students more autonomy.
⌨️ Coming Soon: Typing Curriculum

Keyboarding is a foundational skill in digital literacy, and now it has a home at CodeHop too!
Students can build confidence and speed through fun, gamified lessons designed just for elementary learners.
** This is an add-on to the CodeHop license.
🛤️ Expanding K–5 Pathways Across the U.S.

We’re expanding our full K–5 computer science pathways to include more state-specific pathways! Each pathway is carefully designed to align with state standards and provide a developmentally appropriate technology curriculum for students from kindergarten through 5th grade. Whether you're a teacher, school, or district, these pathways offer a clear, standards-based structure to support high-quality CS instruction at the elementary level.

CS Specific & Interdisciplinary Pathways
CodeHop offers two options for course pathways—The Computer Science Pathway and the Interdisciplinary Computer Science Pathway. Interdisciplinary CS courses are coding courses that can be integrated into other subject areas. Computer Science courses are designed for dedicated computer science or technology instructional time.
Scratch & ScratchJr Embedded Into the Platform
Engage students with creative coding using Scratch, a web-based block programming environment. Scratch is embedded into the CodeHop Platform, allowing students to login to their CodeHop accounts to code without any downloads required!
