New CodeHS Platform & Course Updates
CodeHS has developed curriculum and tools to continue to make computer science instruction engaging for students and easy for teachers.
CodeHS has created new tools and resources for teachers to help them track data, differentiate instruction, and ensure academic integrity in their classrooms.
CodeHS has developed a new Academic Integrity Suite to ensure authentic learning in the classroom. Pull authenticity reports on student work, watch code replays of students completing assignments, and use focus mode to ensure students stay on the assignment page you want them working on.
Spanish curriculum has been developed to provide differentiation options for Spanish speaking students. Teachers can select between English and Spanish in course settings, and students can easily select their preferred language in their individual settings.
Real-Time Data now displays updated student data instantly across the CodeHS Pro Gradebook, Assignment Progress Tracker, Quiz Score Tracker, and New Real-Time Activity Dashboard. Teachers no longer need to refresh the page to see the latest updates.
AI tools have been developed so that teachers can quickly assess student work. AI Hints let teachers send feedback to students as they complete assignments and AI grading tools are also being developed to speed up the grading process for teachers.
Throughout 2023, CodeHS built out courses to align with standards, create state pathways, and provide curriculum that fits your classroom needs.
The CodeHS Elementary platform and curriculum have been updated with new teacher tools and Ready-to-Go lessons, making it easy for all elementary schools to seamlessly fit computer science instruction into their school day. Ready-to-Go lessons involve only minutes of prep for teachers.
Clear Middle School Pathways and courses have been created to help bridge the gap between elementary and high school curriculum.
