ā°Ā Course Pacing: Where Students Should Be

undefined

At this point in the year, you should be aroundĀ Unit 11: The InternetĀ or continuing to work through the Practice Performance Task units. If your classes are running behind, we recommend that you skip the Steganography practice PT so you can get through the rest of the course content before the exam. You can always come back to this module if you find yourself with extra time later in the year.

As a reminder, you can view sample Performance Tasks created on CodeHSĀ hereĀ and view your course syllabi here:

šŸ’” Project of the Month: Black Tech Pioneers

undefined

This February we're celebrating Black History Month by highlighting the "Black Tech Pioneers" project. This project encourages students to explore the significant contributions of Black innovators across the tech industry. Students will learn about their background, inventions, contributions, and accolades.

After researching Black tech pioneers, students create a program to organize their findings. They’ll use a data structure like a list to store details about each individual. Their list or array will include objects or dictionaries with key-value pairs detailing the significant information and contributions of each pioneer you studied.
