Hidden Test Cases

One request that we hear from teachers building their own problems in Create is that they would like the ability to write hidden unit tests, so that students completing these exercises cannot write programs specifically to pass the test cases. We’ve added hidden test cases so that you can test if a student program works without giving them any clues.

Gradebook Custom Points

We’ve added a new grading schema to the CodeHS Gradebook — yours! This schema will allow you to assign custom point values to any exercise in the curriculum for full customization of your gradebook.

Copy Paste Prevention

This optional setting allows you to stop your students from copying and pasting in the CodeHS editor. Don’t worry — unless you enable it, your students will be able to copy and paste freely.
