📚 Spring Themed Projects

Another season, another great selection of themed projects to choose from! Consider assigning one of the ones listed below to add some extra fun to your course this spring.
Here are a few JavaScript projects related to spring:

🤔 Spring Extension Ideas
In the last newsletter, we shared a few different tutorials – like Strings, Arrays, or Objects – that would be a great way to challenge hungry students. Now that they're nearing the end of their year in JavaScript, some may be wondering how to use it in its natural environment, the internet browser.
Consider assigning them a few lessons from the first module in our Web Development course, which show students how to apply JavaScript to an HTML page with the script tag. Note: some knowledge of HTML, or a willingness to learn, is encouraged.

📓 Teaching Resource: Assessment Options
Looking for a way to wrap up the school year? There are multiple available options in our JavaScript courses, depending on interest and time availability – culminating games like Break Out or Helicopter, a Final Exam with online multiple choice questions and offline free response questions, and the Final Project that has students imagine and develop their own program.
