New CodeHS Georgia Courses and Initiatives
4 New Courses and 2 Pathways Meet Georgia’s Latest CS Requirements
We’re excited to let you know about all of the new Georgia courses and initiatives that we’ve been working on here at CodeHS! Georgia’s ambition and work towards expanding computer science across the state is admirable. CodeHS has followed suit and created courses specifically for Georgia to use.
Here is a complete list of the Georgia courses CodeHS offers:
Middle School
- Foundations of Computer Programming
- Foundations of Secure Information Systems
- Foundations of Interactive Design
High School
- AP Computer Science Principles
- AP Computer Science A
- Computer Science Principles (non-AP)
- New! Introduction to Software Technology
- New! Introduction to Hardware Technology
- New! Web Development
- New! Foundations of Artificial Intelligence
CodeHS developed 4 new Georgia courses that are now available. The older Introduction to Digital Technology course has been replaced by Introduction to Software Technology (IST) and Introduction to Hardware Technology (IDT). The addition of these courses will complete two full state pathway options (Georgia CS and Georgia Web Dev) through CodeHS!

CodeHS GACE CS Prep Course
The comprehensive Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators Computer Science (GACE CS) exam is designed to demonstrate that a teacher is highly competent in teaching computer science.
