Introducing: Texas Computer Science 1 Course
First Blended CS Course Fully Aligned to the Texas CS Standards
We are excited to announce the first blended computer science course that is fully aligned to the Texas computer science standards!
CodeHS’s Texas Computer Science 1 course teaches the foundations of computer science and basic programming, with an emphasis on helping students develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills. Once students complete this course, they will have learned material equivalent to a semester college introductory course in computer science and be able to program in JavaScript. This course is currently in a beta version, so there will be updates and revisions before the 2019–2020 school year.
