CodeHS Web Design Insider: Spring Goals, Multi-File Programs, and More

🌸Spring Into Your Goals: Anchor Links
Spring is the perfect time for fresh starts. In this project, students turn their goals into a clean, interactive webpage using beginner HTML skills.
Students will build a one-page website that highlights what they want to do, learn, and experience this spring. Along the way, they’ll practice using headings, paragraphs, ordered and unordered lists, and anchor links to navigate between sections of the page.

By the end of the project, students will have a polished, personal site they can customize and expand. This project reinforces core HTML structure while encouraging reflection, planning, and self-expression. All wrapped up in a fun, seasonal theme!
📂 Creating and Managing Multi-File Programs
By this time of year, students have likely become more comfortable with HTML and CSS. This is the perfect opportunity to challenge them to create more advanced web pages using multiple files.
Working with multiple files helps organize a program, improves website complexity, and enhances readability by breaking up text.
