🌐 Midterm & Supplemental Material
Have you been looking for a way to check in on student understanding of material at this point in the year?
An optional midterm assessment, as well as additional Python content, is available in the supplemental materials section of your Python course. Check out this help article to learn how to access supplemental materials.

📓 Examples & Handouts
As students continue to progress through the course, you may notice that they are not spending much time interacting with the given examples in each lesson. To combat this, there are optional challenges and questions in example descriptions to encourage students to explore examples further.
You can also find this information formatted into a printable handout for each lesson. As students learn to verbalize the content they’re learning, you’ll notice their understanding of the concepts growing as well!

❓ Python Question of the Day (QOTD)
The Question of the Day is a great resource to use in your classroom. Use it everyday as a bell ringer to give students an opportunity to gauge how well they are grasping content, split students into teams to answer the question and award prizes to the team with the most correct answers at the end of each month, or use them at the end of a unit as a premade review!

🚚 Coding in the Wild Blog
The Coding the Wild posts are great for showcasing how professionals use computer science across multiple disciplines. Use them as supplemental material or extra credit to expose students to the broad applications of learning to code.
We recommend using “Coding for Electric Vehicles at Rivian”. Students learn how coding drives innovation in electric vehicles and discover another real-world application of programming.
