Females have been underrepresented in computer science classrooms and careers for far too long. Moving forward, it’s important that all students have the opportunity to learn computer science. Not only does it open doors for students, it gives upcoming generations the power to meaningfully impact the future!

We are proud to see schools helping to close the gender inequality gap and reached at least 50% female representation in either AP CS course (or having the percentage of female examinees exceed the school’s female population). This is an incredible accomplishment as we work collectively to diversify the STEM community and introduce more females to computer science.
