Computer Science Education Week (CSEdWeek) is always one of the most energizing times of the year for the CodeHS team—and this year was our biggest yet.

What Happened During School Visits

During each visit, CodeHS team members partnered with teachers to bring computer science to life. Visits often included:

  • Interactive coding activities and creative projects

  • AI-powered tools for music, games, and problem-solving

  • Conversations about careers in computer science and emerging technologies

  • Collaborative, hands-on learning experiences designed to spark curiosity

Across grade levels, students were especially excited to create something tangible, from music beats to games and websites, while seeing how coding connects to their own interests.

Why These Visits Matter

CSEdWeek school visits are about more than a single lesson or activity. They’re about helping students see themselves as creators, problem-solvers, and future technologists. They’re also about supporting teachers as they build engaging, sustainable computer science programs. These visits proved that giving students the chance to create something meaningful and exciting makes computer science come alive.

Thank You, Educators!

We’re incredibly grateful to the hundreds of teachers and schools who welcomed CodeHS into their classrooms during CSEdWeek. Your enthusiasm and commitment to computer science education make this work possible.
