Professional Development Graduate Credit
Earn graduate credit for taking a CodeHS PD course!
Teachers who complete CodeHS online professional development have the opportunity to earn graduate university credit from St. Catherine University. Graduate credit can possibly help teachers excel in their career, advance on the pay scale, reach licensure requirements, earn additional education credits, and more!

Teaching Computing Ideas - Professional Development Computing Ideas is a first year course that introduces students to the foundational ideas of computer science. This CodeHS professional development is a 30 hour course to be taken over the summer to prepare to teach the Computing Ideas course. |

Teaching Intro Python - Professional Development The CodeHS Introduction to Python course teaches the fundamentals of computer programming as well as some advanced features of the Python language. This CodeHS professional development is a 30 hour course to be taken over the summer to prepare to teach the Introduction to Computer Science in Python course. |
Steps to earn Graduate Credit
- Enroll in an approved CodeHS PD course
Please contact us at hello@codehs.com for your school to purchase a CodeHS PD course. - Complete an approved CodeHS PD course
To earn graduate credit, you must complete an approved CodeHS PD course. - Send a credit request form and pay the credit fee
St. Catherine University requires teachers to fill out a credit request form and pay a small fee to process the graduate credit. *Note: This is not part of the CodeHS course fee. - Receive a St. Catherine University transcript!
After St. Catherine University receives your information and payment, you will be awarded credit and sent an official transcript.
