Course Pacing: Where Students Should Be

Depending on your school year's start date, you should now be moving past the Karel units and on to Units 3 and 4. As a reminder, each course syllabus includes an estimate of how long each unit should take.
These are only estimates, and some classes will move a little faster or slower through some units. If you're running a little behind, consider skipping one or more of the practice Performance Tasks in Unit 2.

Seasonal Projects in the Project Catalog
The project catalog is a curated list of projects. They range from quick beginner activities that take about an hour or less to more advanced projects that may span several weeks. Your students will find plenty of exciting projects for October, including ones about Hispanic Heritage Month, Changing Leaves, and Halloween. The catalog is also a great place for students to get ideas and practice for the AP Exam Create Task!
