CodeHS is happy to announce a new Texas State Computer Science Pathway!

#### Texas Computer Science 1 Course

In order to better align to Texas standards, CodeHS will be releasing Texas Computer Science 1, a course fully aligned to the Computer Science 1 course laid out by Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards. CS1 is based on the CodeHS Intro to Javascript course, and teaches students the fundamentals of computer programming.

In addition to the new CS1 course, CodeHS has aligned all existing courses to the [Texas Foundations of Computer Science standards](https://codehs.com/standards/framework/TX_FOCS) and [Computer Science 2 course standards](https://codehs.com/standards/framework/TX_CS_2).
