We recommend that individuals complete a CodeHS course prior to taking a certification exam, ensuring they are prepared with additional practice. For the 2019–2020 school year, the certification exams can be taken at home after individuals receive a voucher code. Voucher codes will be the key to accessing the exam, where a secure format will be in place with anti-cheating methods. Once individuals pass the exam, they will receive a congratulatory email including a digital copy of their certificate. They’ll be ready to share their verified programming skills with the world!
