### Hour of Code \#BeatsWithCodeHS Contest

#### Share your **Coding in Music** program during CSEdWeek 2019 for a chance to win!

This Computer Science Education Week students can submit their Coding In Music program for a chance to win the #BeatsWithCodeHS Contest.

The top 3 student programs submitted will win a $50 Amazon gift card and be highlighted by CodeHS! It’s easy to get started.

#### How It Works

Check out our free hour-long [Coding in Music tutorial](http://codehs.com/music) this CSEdWeek. Any student who creates their own musical beats in this tutorial can submit their program to the contest.

Get your students started at [codehs.com/music](http://codehs.com/music)!

1\. Once your students complete the Make Your Own Beats module (marked with a star as shown below), they can submit their program to the contest by clicking **SHARE** in the CodeHS Code Editor.

2\. A popup window will appear. Here students need enter the contest code: **music19** andclick submit.

_Note if your students are doing this tutorial logged out, they will need to SHARE their program to the contest before completing the tutorial and enter their contact information (see below)._

**The deadline to submit a program is Friday, December 13, 2019 at 6PM PST.**
