Vibe Coding - Available with CodeHS Pro

Vibe coding is a new way to build software by describing what you want in plain language and letting AI generate the code. It’s used by professional developers every day and now we have built it for the classroom with the CodeHS Vibe Coding tool and Introduction to Vibe Coding course.

With the Vibe Coding tool, students describe what they want to build, and AI generates or updates the code. They can refine their projects with follow-up prompts, ask the AI to explain the code, and see changes instantly, making it easy to experiment, iterate, and connect their ideas to the underlying code.

Ask AI Teacher Assistant

Ask AI is a new Pro tool built into the CodeHS dashboard that helps teachers plan lessons, answer questions, and streamline classroom tasks. Teachers can quickly find courses, review standards alignment, discover lesson recommendations, and gain optional class insights, all while maintaining control over student data and privacy.

AI Student Hints

Support students as they code with AI Student Hints, now available in the CodeHS code editor. Teachers choose which students have access by opting them in, can monitor every AI interaction, and stay in control while students receive guided, context-aware hints based on their assignment, code, and autograder results that encourage independent problem solving.

Academic Integrity Updates

We've introduced new Academic Integrity improvements to help teachers more confidently identify and review potential cheating. Updated similarity detection reduces false positives, new code history indicators make it easier to spot large pasted code, and notifications proactively alert teachers to suspicious work for faster review.
