Did you know that emojis are standardized and approved byĀ [The Unicode Consortium](https://home.unicode.org/)? Tech companies must get standardized emojis approved by the organization in order to receive a unicode assignment.
These approved emojis can be used on web pages easily by adding an emojiās decimal or hex code to your HTML files.

Giving website visitors a choice for viewing and interacting with your site is an important design aspect that improves the user experience.
In this project, students build a web page that lets users choose between two different themes - a light and dark theme - or choose to apply their system theme preference. JavaScript code has been provided, and students use HTML and CSS to create their custom light/dark mode color palettes and styles.
