😍 Emojis in HTML

Did you know that emojis are standardized and approved by The Unicode Consortium? Tech companies must get standardized emojis approved by the organization in order to receive a unicode assignment.

These approved emojis can be used on web pages easily by adding an emoji’s decimal or hex code to your HTML files.

💡 Website Light/Dark Modes

Giving website visitors a choice for viewing and interacting with your site is an important design aspect that improves the user experience.

In this project, students build a web page that lets users choose between two different themes - a light and dark theme - or choose to apply their system theme preference. JavaScript code has been provided, and students use HTML and CSS to create their custom light/dark mode color palettes and styles.

🔍 Inspector Debug

Stuck trying to figure out where your students’ CSS went awry? Web page layouts are easier to debug using Chrome’s built-in Dev Tools!

In this blog, you’ll learn more about how to identify potential problems when reviewing web pages and leverage the Chrome browser’s Developer Tools Inspector.
