Here at CodeHS, we have been hard at work incorporating teacher feedback into making some major improvements to our curriculum, tools and resources. In this blog post, we’ll give you the run-down on the exciting new features added to CodeHS for the year ahead.

**Hidden Test Cases**

One request that we hear from teachers building their own problems in Create is that they would like the ability to write hidden unit tests, so that students completing these exercises cannot write programs specifically to pass the test cases. We’ve added hidden test cases so that you can test if a student program works without giving them any clues.

**Gradebook Custom Points**

We’ve added a new grading schema to the CodeHS Gradebook — yours! This schema will allow you to assign custom point values to any exercise in the curriculum for full customization of your gradebook.

**Sandbox Searching and Filtering**

We’ve created a tool to let you search and filter your student’s sandbox exercises. This makes quick and easy to grade sandbox content, or just check out the creative programming that your students are doing.

**Copy Paste Prevention**

This optional setting allows you to stop your students from copying and pasting in the CodeHS editor. Don’t worry — unless you enable it, your students will be able to copy and paste freely.

**Printable Student Code**

With this addition, students can create nice looking hard copies of their programs.

**Google OAuth for Single Sign On**

We’ve added an option to sign up or log in with a Google account. This should make it even easier to get started with CodeHS especially if you’re a Google Apps school!

**Thanks!**
