⏰ Course Pacing: Where Students Should Be

At this point in the year, you should be around Unit 11: The Internet or continuing to work through the Practice Performance Task units. If your classes are running behind, we recommend skipping the Steganography practice PT so you can get through the rest of the course content before the exam. You can always come back to this module if you have extra time later in the year.

📅 College Board Deadlines
March 13th, 2026- Submit Spring Course Orders and Fall Order Changes
The deadline for AP coordinators to submit any changes to existing AP Exam orders or submit new exam orders in AP Registration and Ordering.
April 30th, 2026- Students Submit Create Performance Tasks
April 30, 2026 (11:59 p.m. Eastern Time) is the deadline for students to submit their Create performance task as final.
It is always better to submit well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues with your computer or internet access. We recommend that students submit their Create Performance Tasks earlier than the deadline.
May 14th, 2026- Exam Date for AP Computer Science Principles
The 2026 AP Computer Science Principles exam will be administered digitally on May 14, 2026 (12:00 p.m. Local Time).
